The Mermaid
We are pleased to announce the reopening of The Mermaid and we would like to support the Welshpool Music Festival. Our Pub is very close to the Town Hall and is one of the oldest inn's in the county dating back to the 16th Century. Our traditional olde pub will be hosting traditional ales and music. We welcome Folk & accoustic singers and non- electric bands to come and play in our cozy warm atmosphere. We look forward to meeting you all at the festival and the year ahead.
Sunday 30th May
We will be hosting acoustic sessions all day and will be booking performers and designating time slots as people arrive. Mavis McMahon, Cat Dogford, Kieth Fabrique, Kuldip, Luke Day are among those already confirmed. We welcome performers to ’drop in’ as it suits.
