The Corn Exchange
A corn exchange was a building where farmers and merchants traded cereal grains. Such trade was common in towns and cities of the Great Britain and Ireland until the 19th century, but as the trade became centralised in the 20th century many such buildings were used for other purposes. Several have since become listed buildings. Yes they changed the nature of their business over the years. Who would of thought that all these years later the Corn Exchange would yet again play a major roll in Welshpool. The priceless comodity that it now exchanges is totally unique and invigerates the soul to the core! This second stage is hosting some excellent musicians, please, check them out, then come see them 'live' !
